Jake in the desert

This is 'Future Fortune' from West Springfield, Massachusetts' hardcore punk outfit RESTRAINING ORDER, and mark this down as the THIRD punk LP I'm annoyed I missed for my lists last year (for those keeping track, the other two are Kaleidoscope and Imploders).

This album fucking RIPS. The dude's voice is awesome. Sound maybe like old Minor Threat, Black Flag, Briefs vibes, Clash flair, slightly heavier. Some AMAZING, riffy, catchy hardcore punk. Killer dynamics, song structures, (even key changes - gasp!) just a FANTASTIC record from an incredible punk band I'm glad I spotted via the collection of early recordings they just put out.

@kevin ok I need to keep you in mind for hardcore punk stuff. I have a FOURTH (sigh) 😂😂 that I will probably post about tomorrow. I like to do a little research on the bands before I do, and to make sure I really dig it, etc.
