The repair shop replaced the --> Lid Angle Sensor last summer, after I spilled coffee over my MacBook Air (M2). Everything solved.
In December, I updated to Tahohe and suddenly, the "system" recognised the new sensor and asked for inspection...

Since then, it stopped working. I can use my computer only when the lid is 100% open. Closing for 1 degree, the computer shuts down.

WTF!

News:
It appears that the #Taohe update has damaged the sensor, making it impossible to calibrate with the nerd.tool.1 anymore.

We have to reorder a new sensor, now from #apple. Let's see if my trusted repair person is allowed to replace it.
