I want to expand the amount of tricks I know, so I'm challenging myself to a pole A-Z.

Today A for Ayesha, such a goal move for many beginner poledancers. My favourite is the elbow grip. This is the version I learned first. Most people find the twisted grip version easier, but it is more injury sensitive when you first start trying Ayesha in my opinion. Because you put your shoulder in a weird position from a mobility point of view, which can be more dangerous when you don't understand the push-pull of the position yet.

@TheArtisticPoledancer I really want to learn this trick 😍
@[email protected] Yess, go get it! A strong caterpillar and (extended) butterfly are the best foundation for thisπŸ€—
@TheArtisticPoledancer can't do either of those - but it's OK, I'm practicing as good AS my body allows me to πŸ’ͺ😊
@[email protected] fair enough. So good that you are listening to your body!πŸ’ͺ🏻 Small steps will get you very far in the end😊
The strength this must take! Amazing!
@[email protected] It does, I go to the gym twice a week to be able to pull this off
Can't imagine a B.?
@Zen161 It's about the name of the tricksπŸ€—. This one is called Ayesha, so therefore A
@TheArtisticPoledancer way more scary than grip versions.
@[email protected] hahah yes most people agree with you. I'm that weirdo that feels more safe in the elbow version πŸ˜‚ πŸ™ƒ
