Did some fun messy people sketches while waiting for hubby at the store today.
Found in my stash a never used moleskin and a lamy fountain pen a friend gifted me. Loaded it up with some new antique black ink and now they're going to come everywhere with me.

Like, I'm not going full analogue, I have incredible and meaningful friendships online. And a lot of my online presence is a positive influence in my life.
BUT ALSO, it does become a time suck.
@MsHearthWitch yeah, it’s tough cause almost all of my social connection is digital. I love and am beyond thankful for my pocket friends.
But the tech itself is a very sharp sword that I’m not always the most intentional about how I use it, and that’s something I’d like to be a wee bit more conscious about.
@moss Yeah, it can be a topic loaded with the erasure of disabled folks when ppl are all "Just go outside!" and "You have to be with people in physical spaces for it to count!"
That's just... not reality.
But I am very aware that in the last few months I will throw away hours and hours just mindlessly scrolling. And there are things that I really *would* rather be doing with my time. Like art. I started painting more this autumn and really want to continue that trend.
