#StainedGlassWoman will be returning on Monday.

It will be a jumbo, 5000+ word article. It is also the most deeply personal and painfully raw article I've written since the Black Box articles, and the most test-read since Beneath the Surface.

It's the altersex article.

I want folks to have a heads up because of how different it is. It'll have information probably a lot of you have never heard before. It also won't have answers, because *I* don't have answers.

Altersex, as a term, has only existed since 2015. I don't have the words to describe the words I need to describe what it really is that I need.

So, when I say I want to invite you all into a very tender part of myself, please understand that it's a part with a lot of sharp edges before you accept.

But if you're brave enough to join me in this pace of tender, sharp miracles and impossible waking dreams, I would be honored to share that space with you.

It's called Panel Lines. If you've ever longed for the kind of bodies you see in GitS, this one might be for you.

Watch for it. πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ€πŸ’œπŸ’—

And, as a side note, this article is me formally coming out as altersex, instead of just talking about it quietly, when I think there are others like me around.
@Impossible_PhD Trans man here. Thank you for this post! I had no idea what altersex was so I went and did a quick Google, and now I know a little more. Sending support from my corner. MikeπŸ₯°
@Impossible_PhD Really impressed and really appreciative of you putting yourself out there like that. I look forward to seeing your article next week!
@Impossible_PhD you just keep being a hugely impressive person. So glad I found your writing, and that I follow you on here. Thank you for being you.
@AbbeyPerilous well... gosh, thank you. πŸ’œ
@Impossible_PhD On a weirdly related note then: Have you ever read 17776?

Holy crap, what a date typo. 2015, not 1995.

Ugh. Numbers. πŸ˜“

@Impossible_PhD
It's in line with my mom saying 2006 instead of 2026 at the start of the week 🀭
@Impossible_PhD thank you so much for making and sharing this piece !!!!! Excited to read it
@Impossible_PhD I'm looking forward to it, tbh. Mostly out of curiosity, and because the few stuff I was looking up didn't help much with "really getting it".

@Impossible_PhD Good on you for writing it and I hope it's well-received. I suspect it will be. There are plenty of other people out there and maybe seeing your article will help them find bits of themselves

And for me... I'll be reading for curiosity more than anything. I like the idea of having Major's body but I don't think I have the same deep connection to it that you do. But I'm still interested to learn more. πŸ’œ

@Impossible_PhD I hope it serves as another guidepost, or at least as a flag to tell others like us that there's more like us. πŸ’œ

@Dani Me too.

But at the very least, I'll have a 5000-word sign to tap if someone is tiring me about the subject.
