In 2025, Sugar Labs made significant progress in various projects. We participated in Google Summer of Code (GSoC), Dedicated Mentorship Program (DMP) and Sugar Summer of Code (SSoC). We mentored seventeen students, creating some innovative new learning tools together with the mentees, documenting our work on our website and on YouTube.

We also partnered with DataKind to better understand our impact, and we plan to use the results of our self-reflective research to steer our work going forward.
