This is why I (somewhat seriously) advocate changing the calendar so we have 12 months of exactly 30 days each, and then 5 (6 in leap years) intercalary days to rest.

Being in "no month" nobody can schedule meetings or shit in those days, so we all get some timeout.

(There's precedent for intercalary days in the Maya calendar system afaik, where they were regarded with fear and trepidation.)
