Undead ZeratulDay 11 of our journey through every Dynasty Warriors game today, and it looks like we're finally finishing up Dynasty Warriors 4. I'm surprised we spent this long on 4, considering how much I prefer 3, although to be fair there's not as much to see in 3.
Either way, we're on to Dynasty Warriors 5 now, and here's where we really start seeing the formula getting iterated on. The immediate change is that musous are not per kingdom, but rather we get to play through each individual character's journey through the larger story being told. This gives a much more personal and intimate perspective (as much as one can in a beat em up of the time), and while I'm sure young UZ did not appreciate this change, I can say as an adult that it's a nice change of pace.
