Since we've already done our top songs of 2025 in various other hashtags, let's wrap up 2025's #KpopMonday with a throwback to 10 years ago, post your favorite songs from 2015 with the tag #2015inKPop

#kpop

@Erzbet is there an easy way to find songs from 2015? Most of the time I only have a vague idea of which decade a song was released in

@lookitmychicken probably the quickest would be to google something like "kpop songs released in 2015" and skim through lists that come up. You can also use the generation the group debuted in to help. 2015 would be mostly 3rd Gen with some 2nd Gen.

Here's the generations chart by debut years that I use:

#1stGen 1992 - 2002
#2ndGen 2003 - 2012
#3rdGen 2013 - 2017
#4thGen 2018 - 2022
#5thGen 2023 - present

@Erzbet aha thank you, I don't really trust google much any more because it's so often full of ai rubbish, but it's probably still the best starting point
@lookitmychicken yea, but for something like this, it should pull up some best of 2015 lists, there's usually a Wikipedia page that is pretty good, potentially a couple reddit threads... So lots of places to start from
@lookitmychicken @Erzbet Kagi has filters to remove as much AI crap as possible - I definitely recommend as an alternative search

@rLok hmm, but kagi seems to be founded in AI

I don't think i trust that

Kagi Search Help

@lookitmychicken they do have AI, and I think some of their earliest products were AI, but they have a very clear policy around AI and their search product. The search results are the best I’ve seen, they filter out AI slop, and let me personalise results
@rLok it's not for me, but I'm glad it's working for you
