I spent weeks laser and core mining in a cheap Quest 2 headset. Shame those activities don’t pay well, but it was 1000x more enjoyable for me.
Everything else is slightly better too, with the unfortunate exception of on-foot content which throws you out of VR and into a virtualized monitor mode.
Okay cool! I think I could manage that fine. I just won a bid on a PSVR2 set so I’m super excited!
Thanks for the advice :)
Hiya, fun seeing you here too! I have no experience with VR aside from a roller coaster VR experience thingy (no movement) so I’m really hoping it doesn’t make me puke.
But also, I’ve never puked on a boat, roller coaster, car, etc. So I think I might be ok.
Okay, the spinning would certainly get me queasy, but I think such spinning would still make me sick if I experienced it with the correct motion. Not that I’d have the opportunity to find out.
I think seated joystick movement might not bother me too much, if I think of it like a mobility scooter. Standing? I’m worried about that the most.
