@edwellbrook I’m running into random Doppler crashes when listening via my Apple AirPods Pro 3 connected to my iPhone 16 running iOS, 26. The phone heats up and the Doppler will either stop playing audio or crash all together. I thought maybe it was a particular audio file but it’s completely random. I had no problems at all most of yesterday and the last week and then late last night it happened again. It also happened this morning. I sent a support email about this a few weeks ago.
@edwellbrook just so you know, I love Doppler!
@justingoboom Thank you! Sorry about these issues, I’ll take a look.
@edwellbrook Now the app is just randomly crashing even when using wired headphones. iPhone 16 with latest version of iOS.
@edwellbrook The phone also gets warm around the camera bump.
@edwellbrook Doppler has crashed 5 or 6 times in the last 12 hours. If this continues I’m deleting the app and looking for something else or going back to the Music app.
@justingoboom Hi Justin. I hear you. I know that’s it’s taking a while to get solved and I understand how frustrating that is for you — I’m sorry. I’m still looking into this.
@edwellbrook the crashes have been a lot less frequent. I’m wondering if it was an iOS issue and that iOS 26.2 fixed it. Well fixed at least for when I’m using AirPods Pro 3. I think it may still crash when using my Bluetooth speaker but I haven’t used the speaker much in the past month.
