Dickens' “A Christmas Carol” might not even be the *best* Christmas ghost story!

Check out this vintage CBC recording of broadcaster Alan Maitland reading Frederick Forsyth’s “The Shepherd”. It's a brilliant interpetation of an awesome short story. You're welcome 😀

Also, Merry Christmas to those who celebrate!

And to those who don’t, it's still a cool recording 😀

Even the kids liked hearing this when they were a bit older.

But mainly Dave Cooks a Turkey. #VinylCafe

@intothewestaway Our sons enjoyed it too. Dave Cooks a Turkey wasn’t a tradition in our house 😀

We used to play word games, not necessarily at Christmas, like Password. Give a one word clue to coax the answer from your teammate. I remember my 5-6 year old went "Vinyl" to get her 9 year old sister to say "Cafe".

I figured they were raised right.
