@ernestbruce As an atheist liberal of course this is good news but let’s please treat these two topics separately. Atheism is a full embrace of science and rejection of authoritarian magic. It is a pure and logical choice.

Socialism as a political full option is not so pure and there is plenty of historical precedence that it cannot work for nations without some mix of capitalistic ideals. It is a component, a vital one but cannot be free of its extremist authoritarian evolution. Young people must understand that balance is necessary in politics

In religion it’s one or the other - logic and humanism or fairy tales
