This seems awfully familiar. The DoJ (or similar) released a blacked out PDF that could be easily read if you just copied it.
I remember this happening once before (probably during Trump45.)
Anyone else remember what & when? π€

In 2005 US soldiers open fired and killed Italian intelligence officer Nicola #Calipari in #Iraq, opening fire on the car carrying him and the Italian journalist Giuliana #Sgrena who was just freed from a terrorist kidnapping.
The report released by ths US government was censored for 1/3 of its length, but the censorship from the PDF was quickly removed by copy&paste allowing Italian detectives to know the names of whom were responsible.

Thanks, but I don't think that's the incident I remember.
A search online suggests it was a release of the indictment of #Felon47's first campaign manager #PaulManafort.
But I don't think that was it either.
But I do agree it was probably something concerning #Dubya & #Iraq (probably connected to #AbuGhraib.)

well, it was a big case in Italy, because an intelligence officer was killed by an allied soldier after a successful risky operation.
but I understand it was not well known abroad.
