"Wonderful Christmastime", by Paul McCartney, who was in Wings and some other pop band before that, is the worst Christmas song. But it's not just that. It is the worst purported song of any genre, ever.

I apologize for inadvertently causing painful flashbacks.
Here's a few minutes of Yoko Ono caterwauling, to rinse any memory of McCartney's travesty from your mind:

@bobcromwell This is my usual go-to musical palette-cleanser. Note, however, that even though Yoko Ono is one of her major influences, so are Etta James, The Byrds, most NY punk bands of the 70s and 80s, Ella Fitzgerald, the Grateful Dead...

@bobcromwell absolutely. And I generally like his other stuff!

I'm sorry but 'Driving Home For Christmas' is the worst ever and I hated it so much I accidentally crashed my car into the guy that wrote it.

@bobcromwell I feel the same way. Maybe there's a support group for this somewhere?

Anyway, if we're making a list and checking it twice here, I'd like to propose the #2 position go to that Trans-Siberian Orchestra version of Carol of the Bells. I told a co-worker that if I hear that one more time I'm "gonna punch an elf in the neck" and he stopped talking to me.
