@nixCraft a horrible ASUS "gaming" laptop. Was defective most of the time, had to send it to the Netherlands almost every two months for the warranty repair.

It got so bizarre, because the TNT lady who always had to get it from my flat started making fun of the whole process, because we saw each other that often.

Vowed to never buy an ASUS laptop again after this. (I was young and needed the games!)

@wurzelmann @nixCraft bummer of a situation.. I gotta say though.. Asus has come a loooong way! Def still a hit or miss sometimes, but when you hit... Rocking a Strix with an RTX 4080 and it rocks! It's able to sustain 100% local inference with an 8b Dense model, 4k context response limit, and 20k rolling context windows, at a whopping 65tps average! Granted, I have HEAVILY optimized.

I'm glad it's working for you, but I do not buy gaming laptops any more, I only buy (collect) Thinkpads now. 😬

@wurzelmann @nixCraft It's quite comical.. I don't even have any games installed XD. I use it for simulations and research.
