@nixCraft Please correct me if I remember this incorrectly, but wasn't EWD known for holding lectures barefooted? Also, didn't he once hold a lecture where at the end the session chair asked the audience if there were any questions. From the audience, someone said "I did not understand this". EWD did not react. The session chair asked EWD if he missed the comment, whereupon EWD answered: "This was not a question".
