The bottom frame took nearly 2 years to do (working 1 evening a week in my stained glass class), while the top frame took about 6 months.

The bottom was much slower in part because it had twice as many pieces, but also –over the course of making this window my glass cutting ability improved *dramatically*.

Wow! That gave me a big hit of Bay Area nostalgia! Not just the plants, but the Craftsman ethos of decorative-and-functional buildings. Wow.
