I stopped at Fairway Market at Gorge-Tillicum, to look for green mangoes, persimmons & longan fruits. I was able to find the latter 2 but they had no green mangoes in stock. I'll have to try their Quadra Village location & Chinatown. Fairway Market stocks a lot of Asian foods & is local to Vancouver Island.

I got the persimmons & longan for ceremonial offerings.
I want green mangoes to make a few jars of green mango pickles.

My #TangYuan is done. Putting some in small bowls for ceremonial offerings.
Stuffed with homemade sweet black sesame paste. Serve with toasted sesame seeds.
Traditional #glutinous #RiceBalls #dessert.
