Inhumans was so bad, I didn't finish the first episode.
@cynical13 Everyone knew it was bad when they broadcast E1. I'm telling you, everyone KNEW. And yet they still had to run it. Every episode was painful & stupid. You can thank that loser, Ike Perlmutter.
I was at the end of my time as an IT advisor for Disney/ABC during broadcast & I remember just shaking my head, saying:
"What are we doing? What the hell are we doing?"
Only good to come of it was Anson Mount as Black Bolt who is a special actor & human. (Captain Pike on Star Trek SNW.)
I knew it was going to be terrible while they scaled back the release from IMAX to tv. And I also watched Marvel pull back on X-Men to showcase the Inhumans in the comics because they were putting out their own movies and shows but didn't have movie control of their mutants. They burried the Fantastic Four about that time too for the same reason.
Yeah, Love & Thunder is one of the reasons I said, "...or other" because I figured some people would mention L&T or Ms. Marvel or SheHulk.
Personally, I thought L&T was mildly entertaining. I died laughing at the screaming goats or the Zeus scenes. And I enjoyed Ms. Marvel & She Hulk.
Agents of Shield though... man, that was a mess & but I watched it religiously & got value out of it so...
@al_x_mq I wanted to sue for the time wasted watching that show.
It was a perfect storm of executive panic from Marvel with fading audience interest, terrible writing with no time to fix it, egos driving really poorly envisioned plots (and a total deviation from the comic), desperation for Disney+ content & simply a cheap-looking production despite $200M budget.
Man, that show is definitely in the bottom 2.
Yeah, Quantumania was fundamentally mediocre but it wasn't galactically atrocious like Secret Invasion & Inhumans were. The Eternals... man, it had such potential but the plot was just boring & dragged hard.
While I thought Quantumania was flawed but passable cinematic fun, Eternals was just sheer disappointment & yawns.
