National Day: Fulfilling a Call to Action

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation became a federal statutory holiday on June 3, 2021, with Bill C-5. This directly fulfills Call to Action #80 from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, which urged the government to create a day to honour Survivors, their families, and communities. #Canada #NDTR #CdnPoli #Reconciliation 🇨🇦
