Charlie McHenry@PhoenixSerenity Cute, but potentially dangerous looking. When we’re wildcrafting fungus in the forest for food, we stick to chanterelles - which are hard to misidentify. I assume you’re just looking for stunning images, and this is certainly one. Two dainty capped mushrooms emerging from glistening, green moss. Great composition.
@CharlieMcHenry Yes - I wasn't foraging today. I know what's edible & my rule is never eat anything you can't 100% identify. Same with all wild foods! I usually go for chanterelles, pine, morels, lobsters, oysters & cauliflower mushrooms. I forage with Indigenous friends here 🙂
