I actually managed to squeeze in a new #linuxaudio soliloquy #video today. πŸ˜…

It was fun. 😎

The topic: β€œFavorite vs. Missed Plugins on Linux.”

For this, I made a little jam… πŸ™‚

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. πŸ˜‡

@amadeus

Great video! Maybe add to something like Part 1 Instruments to the title, otherwise it's not clear what the actual content is about.

EDIT: wording

@graves501 Good input! πŸ™Œ Done!
@amadeus thanks for making this! i just got bitwig essentials and i am keen to expand things out a bit with some of these. the 303 skin looks great πŸ‘Œ
@miclgael Glad to hear that! Have fun exploring!

@amadeus Beautiful. This is perfect timing for me to dip my toes even further into the water. Thank you!

As a newb I'd really like to see more things on how to get started, maybe show what you can do with a DAW, what's the workflow like? Maybe take us through how you make a tune, things like this.

@rtn Glad to hear that. 😊

Maybe I could do some sort of a video challenge. Like, you know, "A Song in 30 Minutes", kind of thing. Aβ€”Z, unscripted, see how far I can get in 30 minutes.

What do you think?

@amadeus Sure! Be creative. It's important that you have fun and keep making videos!
@rtn @amadeus that's a very cool idea! I often miss seeing peoples workflow, when watching different videos, because it's often function/plugin/instrument based and less process based.
@mosgaard @rtn I'm looking forward to making a video like that soon. 😎
@amadeus Did you know that the #Arturia AstroLab is running the Arturia sound engines on #Linux on ARM? So if anyone is in a good position to release their plugins for Linux (Intel and ARM), it'd be Arturia... if they added Linux builds, I'd buy AnalogLab or even V Collection in an instant. #JUCE
@probono I didn't know that, interesting. Then Arturia and Ableton are probably in a similarly comfortable position to hopefully start creating Linux builds of their software soon. 🀞
@amadeus @probono I long for being able to manage my audiofuse soundcard without a windows vm, especially as quite a few features are only available from their sw (like reamping or changing some inputs from phono to balanced trs)
