Starbucks #union workers are still on strike after a month. One of the many reasons being that Starbucks refuses to even guarantee them 2% annual raises - well below the normal cost of living increases.

Fuck #starbucks. Their CEO make millions. They can afford it. They’re just greedy fucks.

@PhoenixSerenity Well, yes, but we don't have any good local cafes and we still being covid cautious so we basically only use places that have drive-thrus.

If we're out and about and want something they're one of our few options.

One of the many downsides to living in the boonies and actually trying to avoid a deadly epidemic.

@masukomi Probably better to make your own delicious drinks at home & tote some in a thermos. I do that most days to save money. I only go to cafes occasionally & am always masked up to buy a to-go cup.

@PhoenixSerenity yeah. Wifey prefers her own lattes to theirs. Usually we just swing by for sandwiches that aren’t McDonald’s.
