A medieval chronicle tells that Bishop Baldric of Ultrecht sent a priest to sleep in a decrepit church in Deventer as penance for saying he saw the dead giving thanks. That night the dead did not let him sleep, and in fact burned him to ash for trespassing. #PhantomFriday
