Trying to find work as a security product TAM. Finding even though I'm acing the interviews, I'm still getting passed over. I'm beginning to suspect ageism. What's the best recourse? How do I hold companies accountable? A "feeling" isn't going to hold up in court, plus the NLRB is at best useless, and at worst, hostile.

@scottymace seems very tough on an individual level. Seems like companies would need to be audited like food safety inspections.
In any case, good luck in your search.
@scottymace there's no one thing that explains why you're not selected by a firm. The hiring process is like an 'escape room' session and they don't give you enough information to solve the puzzle. I've hired 100s and can say for certain that its random chance. Just keep applying. You can expect to apply to at least 3 jobs a day with the average time to get picked up being about 7 months. It's not personal and they probably don't know what they want either.
