AutI just finished the first draft of a Youth Airplane Build charter for my EAA Chapter. I've never made one before but now I have a nice 5 page document specifying how the program will run. It needs some work, input from others, board approval, blah blah blah.
As a kid I never appreciated the amount of coordination and work things like this are, ignoring the complexity of building the aircraft itself. It should be a fun and rewarding experience once we get there.
