The amount of people coming out like Paul #Dano is this fucking amazing actor and (I wasn’t saying he’s bad but I think he’s largely forgettable for me) and then trying to act like #Tarantino isn’t a fucking pivotal Director, the director of Generation X lol I don’t understand. This is not the first time Tarantino has talked some shit like who gives a fuck ? People are allowed to have their opinions like Jesus fucking Christ. There are actors. I fucking hate. Big deal. People have opinions.

@MATAK79

Probably cuz people are triggered by bullies.

@paninid i’m not denying it wasn’t maybe a dick thing to say I don’t know that it was bullying. I mean Paul Dano a fucking millionaire. I don’t know that I could ever feel bullied being a fucking millionaire, but I get what you’re saying.

@MATAK79 Does Tarantino dislike Dano? That kind of makes me feel good because I've always disliked him too.

So what's happening? Tarantino's getting cancelled because he dares dislike an actor, and the younger generation is saying "who the fuck is Quentin Tarantino?"

@schamspeare basically. He had a Tarantino way of saying it calling him the “weakest actor in sag” but I didn’t think that was like the worst thing he could have said. But yeah people are going off the rails about it. On Reddit anyway. Tarantino has a lot of takes on things I think sound crazy too, but I don’t know the reaction is like it seems to be over compensating a bit in my mind.

Honestly, in that article, some of the things that Paul Dano was in I’ve seen, and I literally can’t even remember the fact that he was in them. It’s kind of funny.

One of Hollywood’s Top Filmmakers Came for a Beloved Actor. Knowing His History, It’s Not a Surprise. — Slate

The notoriously mouthy director came for the beloved actor. The backlash has been swift.

@MATAK79 I can't read it. The fact that — at a glance — the article seems to be siding with the people who are defending Dano from this awful, horrible, unthinkable, abusive thing that Tarantino did — express a negative opinion of someone... I can't handle it. He's one of the most off-putting actors I've ever seen. It's such a sign of how upside down everything is that the article is calling him "beloved."
