As a Canadian, I had to get the original Plushtodon shipped to a trustworthy American friend, then shipped to me. I know that doesn't help, but you may need to consider it.

It's not for want of trustworthy friends but for not wanting to impose on any of them. For now, my best move is to support our #fediverse in other feasible ways.
