In some parts of the world, life for nonbinary people is objectively better than it was in decades past.

However, "better" can be (and often is) a far cry from "decent." Sometimes a little improvement only shows how much farther our respective societies have yet to go.

Being angry is not a lack of gratitude for the progress made. Your anger is a hunger for true equality.
