There was meant to be a 11.2.0 on 1st April, but we put too much good stuff in the wheels and hit the @pypi.org project limit before it could all be uploaded. That was yanked and now deleted and 11.2.1 is back to normal size.

- Ruff is used for linting, but Black for formatting (see .pre-commit-config.yaml)
- a lock file isn't needed for a library, which should accept a wide range of dependency versions. Although I think some libs do lock for local dev/testing? I use Hatchling as the build backend, not quite the same as the Hatch project manager, but it doesn't support them yet.
- Yes, it could do with some refactoring :)
@hugovk ah ok sorry didn't saw the precommit file. Yeah I was thinking only for dev/reproducible errors. Anyway if I have/take the time, i may propose a small split rewriting as a pull request. Thanks for answering my concerns.
