ah, nice :) I'm telling people for years: + let's limit upper+lower bounds of wealth: eg 10 million USD / 100k USD (100x) + everybody wins: billionaires become decimillionaires, and no longer need to compete against an open-ended world-devouring scale 1/4
+ billionaires that complain get free counseling to overcome their addiction + studies show that too much inequality leads to problems (more egalitarian countries are happier) + the richest can raise the ceiling only by raising the median > common good replaces greed as motivator 2/4
I searched for a year for others with this idea until I found "limitarianism". I don't like the framing. I call it #integralism: + re-integrating the poor and the super-rich into a common society (non-rich and rich will ride the well-funded bus) 3/4
+ ensures integrity: nobody can dominate society with their power (cough *msk* cough) if your society lived on a small island, and one guy "owned" 99% of the palm trees, you'd kick him in the nuts until he becomes normal again. we'll just fix the glitch. 4/4
