Today I got to use my full name all at once for the academic version of "No True Scotsmen," since I technically wrote it. I'm super happy about it.

Ellis Cú Anann Arcwolf 🐺

Do any of your non-host headmates have a full name aside from your IRL or system name? If so, represent!

@EllisArcwolf We've got two—Taliesenn Chrysopoeia, and Meredith Aurora ap Pryderi. Both cases of repurposing rejected forenames as surnames.

@FaeAlchemist

gasps!

Your name is from Ireland too! 💙

And not just anyone, but the best shapeshifting bard mage hero of all. 😸

@EllisArcwolf Wait, which one? Regardless, probably a case of drawing from the Welsh cousin of the Irish myth.

@FaeAlchemist

You're right! Taliesin! 💙

It's nice to remember how that was all one people back then. Not a peaceful people, but a people nonetheless. 😹

@EllisArcwolf Ah, yeah! Tali has a slightly abused spelling of it, with only a minor pronunciation change she was able to make it an anagram of her species, ninetales.

Relatedly, mind if I ask what Cú Anann means? It looks similar to Ci/Cŵn Annwn, but we've always heard of Irish dog myths under different names.

@FaeAlchemist

That's exactly it!! It means Hound of Anu or Hound of the Morrígan. 😸
