Today we are calling on institutions around the world to take control of their #DigitalSovereignty, including their social accounts. Governments should communicate directly with their citizens on open platforms, not through the mouthpiece of a corporation.

PoLiTiPeT@Mastodon in France there was the #HelloQuitX initiative earlier this year, morphed into #EscapeX ( @fr.escape-x.org / @HelloQuitteX ) that was pushing in this direction – but was blocked/ignored by most gov and politicians in France.
@leavex somehow took over and might have more to say and offer.
