Attached: 3 images Without second-guessing what exactly Met Γireann may decide in the morning on potential warning upgrades, there is a chance that some counties could see their alert status raised based on tonightβs model output. Alongside the risk of pluvial and surface flooding overnight and into Tuesday morning, and the threat of coastal flooding in the south through to Thursday, current guidance indicates winds may gust in excess of 130 km/h over land on Tuesday.

Hang on. It's Gerry Murphy's LAST DAY with Met Γireann?? What? π²
Jayses, lads, that wind's been a bit wild out here in Dublin. π¬
I hope everyone's keeping safe, I'd say it's scary in a lot of places.
103km/h in the Irish sea near the Isle of Man.
It's blown everything about here on the south coast. I've been lucky and could mostly stay indoors. Dog dunt like it.
And so say all of us!
That's a classic ambush setup...
@HarriettMB Yeah, it's been weirdly calm, and fierce mild here, too - even a bit of blue skies here just now!
It's all very pleasant, but I'm convinced that the storm is trying to lull us into a false sense of security..
Right now, where I am in Cork, I'm looking at gently waving trees and the rain has stopped...π€·ββοΈ
Well, this was meant to be peak storm...
ME saying gusts of over 100kph.
Not seeing it! (yet?)
Not complaining! π
@IsabelB Definitely not - long may the calm weather last! π€πΌ
Yeah, here in Dubland it's meant to peak from the next hour or two until after tea time (handy nebulous time ranges by me, there..), so I'm heading home from the office to batten down the hatches and work remotely. π¬
