I didn't know anything about Vigeland and his work. My wife and I stumbled into the park by accident on our Oslo visit several years ago. And then got fascinated by all the sculptures there.

More or less my experience as well. . . there's a Viegeland museum nearby , I regret I wasn't able to visit it.
