@reiddragon
Actually I don't think so. That's literally what the r right wing libertarians more or less want, a completely castrated federal government. What is exactly what project 2025 is about.
What DOGE was about.
Because again dealing with the individual states, especially if they have to compete against each other, it's way easier.

@reiddragon
If memory serves, at least for some libertarians the end game are city states governed by corporations. With that pesky democracy thing gone for good, replaced by the rule of money, or as they like to put it, genius.
Ignoring that being rich is in our system seldom correlated with even being clever.

It's a mix of them.
Call it an unholy coalition. That can agree on a small intersection set, and sometimes that can lead to odd meetings when an anti-Semite supporter meets a Jewish supporter and they start to discuss if Jews should be exterminated.
But yes the current breed of (US) fascists carry a number of libertarian ideas with them, even if their whole program was such might be incompatible.
@reiddragon
Let me be more precise, the libertarians would probably prefer to do away with the whole federal government at least in practical means.
The Trump regime is delivering the dismantling of the administrative state while at the same time even building up the repressive state power (his whole personal hooligans, well funded ICE).

The Russian Federation should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual oblasts and republics, so that governments can better represent their people.
The United States should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual states, so that governments can better represent their people.
How many European politicians still give interviews to Russia TV?
How many businesses from the #EU advertise on that channel?
Ohhh . . .
The giga-troll can free hate-speech all he wants in Magaland. The world needs neither him nor his companies.
Can we get a list of companies from #Europe that still spend money on #Maga #Musk's #X?
Just so that 450 million consumers can make an informed choice.

Let's take small steps in the right direction.
Support independent journalism in your countries, vote in elections, have the courage to speak out against populists who promise simple solutions to complex problems
@eunews
They mean that corporate overlords have only small countries to deal with.
It's much easier to bully small countries, that literally are smaller in all relevant metrics than the corporations that are doing the bullying.
Sorry as a citizen of a small country who has lived there before we joined the EU, I think I'll pass on that future.

The first rule of the useful idiot club is you don't know you're in the useful idiot club.
@Eurospoofer @eunews who deserves a missile strike more, a miscellaneous fishing boat netting at night like people have done for a thousand years, or the loudest billionaire.
Nobody earns a billion dollars. They under paid hundreds of thousands and used monopoly influence to leverage money from millions of customers by limiting choices.
Billionaires and trillionaires should be beheaded.
@eunews who forced those goverments to join EU in the first place? All countries had to follow joining procedure and a referendum. It's not like EU said "oh yeah you're in now"
And it's not like leaving is impossible. I mean, UK left.
Fuck these traitors…
