Jolla Phone Pre-order

@Linux is there a full spec list? I'm looking to upgrade from my pixel 7a since there's no linux distros that fully support it and my battery life has severely degraded since I switched to graphene os

@D_113CR

The level of specs were voted on by the community - check this out: https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/next-gen-jolla-phone/23882

But hang on not much longer for final word:

Faq: "When will full specs be available?"

A: "Once the manufacturing pathway is confirmed at 2000 pre-orders."

-That is achieved now (at the time of writing Jolla Phone is at 104%) ✅

Next gen Jolla Phone

Hi there, As noted in the previous community meeting, we’d like to define the next gen Jolla Phone together with the community. Now, we’ve been offered access to a good quality modern 5G smartphone platform and we’d love to hear everyone’s opinion on the key configuration specifications and also to get a feeling of the potential demand for such a product. To make the next gen Jolla Phone commercially viable we estimate that we should get in minimum 2,000 pre-orders so we can start the project...

Sailfish OS Forum

@Linux @jolla

Jolla's sailfish is closed source.

Jolla is associated with BRICS.

Jolla had to declare bankruptcy due to its ties with russia.

I had a Jolla 1 for a couple years, it was the ABSOLUTE WORST phone I ever owned. And I owned a Neo Freerunner.

The Sailfish OS is worse than many Linux desktop distributions in many respects. Just run SteamOS on any phone. You'll be better off.

@Linux @jolla Don't use/recommend this proprietary garbage OS! What is the point of using a Linux OS if it is partially proprietary?!
