Wild boars absolutely demolished the neighbours lawn in a single night. A cool half minute walk from our garden which features plenty of root vegetables that are overwintering in the ground. To say this makes me nervous is an understatement. 😬

@LokeMani Ok, wow.
I recently had a discussion with animal lovers that wild animals in the human realm would actually be totally unproblematic and certainly not a danger... fortunately I only have trouble with foxes here in the garden.
Good luck for your veggies!

@zynmaster Hah. Now that's an interesting take. I wish that were the case. I do love seeing all the animals so close up and even try to keep the property rather wild to encourage birds and deer and snakes. But some animals are definitely a problem if they get *too* close. I think any farmer could tell plenty of stories of wild animals being a problem too.

Thanks. With any luck they will move on without discovering our food 🤞

@LokeMani It's fancy in Germany to feed wild animals or take home (seemingly) abandoned puppies and fawns. In some areas, we have problems with deers and foxes that live in the village or suburbs without fear of humans and dogs.
My vegetables are pretty safe - the neighbours spread cat food everywhere here - I just have to clean up the poop all time...
