Bad Dye Job

It might have made some sense to bring someone from the fashion/brand world to lead software design for Apple Watch, but it sure didn’t seem to make sense for the rest of Apple’s platforms. And the decade of Dye’s HI leadership has proven it.

@daringfireball Your mention of Mike Matas reminded me that he also helped design the UI for lobe.ai which was a deep learning training tool for AI. It had a very intuitive interface from what I recall. But didn't last long because it was bought out by Microsoft.

I hadn't heard of it until now, and now I'm super disappointed to see that development has stopped because it looks amazing.
