@ionafyfe I hope e.g. Qobuz begins to take over music streaming from Spotify (without worsening in the process), as the cut they steal from artists is a lot smaller (but likely still too high). And they also offer album/song purchases. Spotify payoffs are likely to drop further as the platform doesn't do much to combat generated content taking away exposure for human music.

...but as you say Bandcamp, especially on Bandcamp Fridays, is probably even better.

That's a great question, but I don't know.
We have used Qubuz to listen to new music and have subsequently bought the CDs from the artist.

@WheresMyWater @ionafyfe Always? No, it basically created the streaming music market. For a long time it was, at least from the end user point of view, an excellent platform. Then they got obsessed with adding bloat and having an identity crisis. It’s an abysmal platform now buts it wrong to say it was always the worst.
