@cmconseils I mostly play in whatever the name for "medium" mode is. It's enough challenge to not be boring without being so challenging that it becomes a slog.
Wife generally prefers to play on easy mode, but will try to play at medium if we're playing co-op.
That said, it's been rather a while since I've powered on my gaming-console. With all the AAA game-makers all but abandoning campaign-mode, especially co-op campaign-mode (and, super-especially, local co-op), we just don't find new games worthwhile. Cost of two gaming setups aside, "couch co-op" is a lot more fun than trying to play "together" when we're each in different parts of the house.
…and neither one of us finds online multi-play with total strangers to be enjoyable. Dunno if that last bit is just a side-effect of us being #GenX.
Honestly, I don't know how online multi-play with nothing but strangers can be considered in the same breath of "social gaming" as "couch co-op". But, again, as an #Xer — for whom LAN parties used to be a thing — sitting in a room, by yourself, with your individual gaming-setup just doesn't feel right.
