This photo does not come close to capturing how beautiful this brocade silk is.

The green jacquard is going to become a fancy dress vest. The cream paisley is going to become a set of stays.

And the tan habotai is for linings.

I'm so excited and also nervous.

@elfkin I hope so! Not sure if the buttons I ordered will arrive in time and I'm uncertain what to do if they don't.

@MsHearthWitch Could you do knotted cord knobby button things like one would make for a frog closure?

@elfkin Not sure if that would ruin the fancy look I'm going for.

I might just sew on other buttons and not actually do the button holes. Just for the event. We'll see.
