installed on #mindy and thus far I am very pleased with both look and feel on this #AcerSwift3 with #Ryzen4700u laptop.
Only thing I couldn't quickly sort out is the Fingerprint Password Settings app in the #zorinOS repo.
Other than that I have no problem seeing why it has become a popular choice for those with #Win10 that Microsoft gave a 🖕 to about upgrading to #Win11.
now up and running on #mearth.
As well as got
going.
First game installed is #hollowKnight, which I suspect will make at least a few of my Team
mates 😃 about.
Now to see how well it runs on the 3440x1440 QD-OLED 240Hz monitor 🥳
Sweet, the #8BitDoPro2 Bluetooth controller paired out of the box to
and worked flawlessly with #HollowKnight on
It is incredible how good gaming on
have gotten 🥰
I'm very happy now 🥰
On Win 10/11 I could never get #SettlersIV running properly. In particular the little guys, the settlers, would not show, rendering the game unplayable.
But using #HeroicGames in
I only had to login to my #GOG account, click install and then launch. Nothing more. No weird tricks or settings.
It just started playing perfectly 🥳
I'm mentally back in front of the
A2000 30+ years ago, where I spent so many hours playing this game.
I'm very happy now 🥰
@tsvenson ordered the Pro 3, lets see how loud those buttons really are ...
I bookmarked a tutorial on how to make these more silent, should be doable since I do have some good tooling for opening.
Enjoy!
Thus far I haven't actually noticed the sound the buttons are making. But then I am old school, growing up with the controllers of the 1970s and onwards 😆
I have the SN30 pro too, and the buttons on it is louder. Especially the D button, that on the Pro 2 is almost silent in comparison.
@tsvenson the problem seem to be the swappable ones are with magnets which cause higher click volumes.
I don't really need swapable ABXY buttons, so I may very well either open it up and put some tape onto it or replace the buttons with the Pro 2 ones so they're more silent.
Maybe it doesn't disturb me though,- I am currently using a mechanical keyboard which is somewhat loud too, so maybe I am not so sensitive after all.
How do you like your Pro 2?
For me, see swappable is more an expensive gimmick on controllers.
I like the Pro 2. Feels good to hold, and matches the PS5 well, which is great for muscle memory.
It has served me well over the years. Now getting a new and even more important purpose, with
on it 😃
