Yeah but one of the goals of using LLMs to auto-generate code in the first place is to be able to incorporate open source software without permission, compensation or attribution and make it somehow legal or at least make nobody specific liable for it. The investors would definitely grudge 0.1% of that money going in what they see to be the wrong direction.

@harmoniousanger @jalefkowit I would trust code written by virtually any open source developer (Theo de Raadt included), whether under infuence of any particular drug far more than AI slop.

If we need to choose which bad habit we enable, always choose the one that issn't AI.
