"Forever" (and, by extension, "never") is a strong word - it should be used sparingly. Things very rarely last forever - there is most often an end of some sort. And when there is, and when it comes, you end up resembling a fool who over-exaggerates what they say and can’t take responsibility for their actions. It’s better to try and define a timeframe of some sort or at least say that a timeframe can’t be provided. (1/2)
For example, instead of "This project will never be developed again", it’s better to say "This project will be postponed indefinitely". (2/2)
