Yes, similar to Notion AI.
@manlycoffee is there an advantage in using it inside logseq?
I’m using the md files and the MCP server from outside.
It's honestly a personal preference.
Same reason why some prefer Cursor instead of Claude Code.
I have both installed Cursor and Claude Code.
Sometimes I use Claude Code. Other times I use Cursor.
Why Cursor?
I can Cmd+L to spin up the side bar with the context loaded in, and type in a quick prompt, hit enter and get what I need.
For more heavy-hitting tasks, I use Claude Code.
The same rationale is what inspired me to work on the sidebar.
@manlycoffee So your goal is more to work with AI on the content. Is that right?
I use AI to gain insights from my own notes.
Perhaps that's a different use case.
@manlycoffee great stuff.
I have been keeping seamless job notes with logseq since 2021. I use it as a job diary, project management tool, and to-do list.
I use AI to create my morning briefing, my weekly review, my weekly focus, and our bi-weekly reports.
All with Claude commands and skills.
I highly recommend working this way.
I tried.
I don't mind it.
That said, still not stopping me from building this sidebar plugin.
