I'm guessing #JuiceSSH app is abandonware now? Their cloud sync API server is offline, and the app hasn't been updated since 2021? What #Android #ssh app are people using nowadays? Termius? Termux?
Holy hell, #Termius wants to bill me $10/month for the same pro features I paid once for JuiceSSH. That's a big nope.
How do I know JuiceSSH is abandonware? Their Contact Us page still has G+ links.
@phaysis connectbot, I don't use ssh from my phone too often
@Mae Took a look at Connectbot; noticed a rendering issue on tablet in landscape orientation on the New Host dialog that confused me for half an hour. Tried it on several phones and it worked. Then I saw that if I turn the tablet to portrait, it renders the form. Whack. Also whack is the disappearing esc-ctrl-tab-function bar; tapping the screen to make it appear is weird.
@phaysis i just use termux, personally
@phaysis Termux. Gives you an actual shell environment so you can use OpenSSH the same way you would on any other *nix machine, along with mosh and others.
@lemonsh Thanks. I have Termux and use it for local shells, but have occasional issues with automatic updates through Play Store, so I don't use it much.

@phaysis the Google Play version is a bit lobotomized due to Google’s requirements, and the devs recommend installing from F-Droid.

In fact, Termux was off the Play Store for many years before 2024.
