It's kinda saddening that even though Russia deploys the same propaganda tactics the Nazis did while and after WW2 (we had to attack, because they wanted to eradicate us first) people keep falling for it.

Probably because most people never really bothered to learn about this stuff, or schools failed to teach those things.

But maybe people also hoped there would have been no need to understand (see "end of history")
