Politicians need to be able to tell lobbiests that their real constituency is breathing down their neck and sending specific instructions.

It's about creating citability. Some of it is theatre, but that's participating in politics.

People who think that's not enough should come up with a better plan and announce it in your neighborhood - aka, where your physical influence is strongest thxxxxx
